Run it out.

I did my first run this morning.

The Lululemon 10K in Toronto.

It went by too quickly, and I was oddly upset with myself near the end for not making better time.

I did it in 1 hour 1 minute and 30 seconds.

That being said, I didn't train at all, I almost never run—so I shouldn't be so hard on myself for not being able to do it in less than an hour as I had hoped.

The first 2 KMs my knees started to really hurt. I found my chest hurt a lot too, aches in my back. Running is really hard on your joints, even my foot started to hurt because of the pressure points my shoe was distributing.

But I have no regrets, I'm so glad I did it and it was honestly a lot of fun.

I hope to one day run a half and maybe even a full marathon — maybe just to say that I've done it.

Next time I would definitely train more, and maybe get new shoes.
