Proud Canadian, sorry not sorry.
Today is Canada Day.
A day to celebrate everything we are as a nation.
A day to sit back on the dock, drink Canadian Caesars, swim in freshwater lakes, and eat as much local Canadian produce as I can.
I also believe Canadians are too nice. But today, I'm not sorry, I'm proud too be a Canadian and live in this beautiful nation.
A nation and people not without flaws, but also grounded in our love of country and foundations of trust, belonging and diversity.
I couldn't imagine my life in any other place or surrounded by any other people. I look forward to exploring even more of this country, north, west, east, to south.
