My four rules of packing.

1. If it doesn't bring you joy, don't put it in your suitcase.

2. You've never packed a suitcase properly until you've incorporated packing cubes.

3. Always, always, always leave extra room in your suitcase or pack an extra tote bag—you never know what you'll come home with.

4. It's easier to make packing decisions with a glass of wine.
