How to hack a cold
I don't get sick very often, but when I do, it's not pretty.
No one likes being sick — so how can you fast track a cold?
Take oil of oregano.
A little drop right under your tongue once or twice a day.
Gargle with warm salt water.
If you have a cough or sore throat, clearing your throat of bacteria is key.
Drink a bacteria-fighting elixir:
A teaspoon of chopped ginger
A freshly squeezed lemon
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 garlic clove chopped
A pinch of cinnamon
A teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
Sweeten with honey and add enough hot water to fill a mug.
Eat all the carbs.
Whatever you're craving, enjoy it. I always crave Zoodles when I'm sick, sometimes I put cheese on top of it for a cheesy tomato pasta dish—delicious.
Have a warm bath.
Enjoy an Epsom salt soak, add in a bit of coconut oil to help keep your skin moisturized.
Don't do anything—seriously.
Don't push yourself, take as long as you need to recover and recover fully. The worst is that coworker coming into the office just to prove the point that they're sick. Keep your germs to yourself!
