When I was younger, I would brush my hair like every other girl.

I didn't realize I was brushing out my amazing natural curls. 

Do you know what happens when you brush curly hair? 

This is very much what happens to curly hair when you try to brush it out. It's not pretty. I resonated strongly with Princess Mia growing up. Frizzy hair, glasses, underrated.

It took me years to fall in love with my natural curls. I dreamed of a day I could have straight hair like all my girlfriends.
