An interview in bed with my boyfriend 🛏

Starting this blogging journey for #The100DayProject, a lot of people asked me how I'm going to be able to keep it up. I started to think about the different formats it could take—why not an interview?

Last night I had a complete spontaneous interview with my long-time partner in crime Gary, and we ended up having a pretty funny candid conversation I'd like to share with you.

Also, in the nature of my about me section titled "keepin' it real", basically none of this is paraphrased and this is an honest and true account:

What blog title would you be inclined to read?

How to cook my steak tomorrow.

What are you reading on your iPad?

I just finished the latest installment on the Expanse series.

Trick question. The books are always better.

What’s the next book you want to read?

That’s a good question I haven’t figured that out yet.

What’s your favorite part about Mondays?

Being horribly exhausted because I don’t sleep properly on Sunday nights.

That’s not a good thing ...

Well, one thing I like is that I never have any meetings booked until past noon so I don’t have to talk to anyone and can catch up on emails.

Well, you talk to me in before noon.

You don’t count though.

What’s one regret you have?

Going to Panama (for context, you need to see this video)

What’s your favorite moment of this year so far?

Probably Cuba—it was nice and relaxing. That night the old Spanish man told your dad to "shut up please" was also really funny. At that point, I thought people only became outraged like that in TV shows and movies.

You could, you shouldn’t, but you could.

A while ago you told me one day you’d like to own a hostel, do you still think about that?

I don’t plan my life out, it’s just a series of happy accidents.
